It has a great approach angle with a snug fit to the body. It has our winch-capable steel plate bumper in the center with our prerunner sides! There is a gusset design plate behind the top tubes (you will only see it, looking straight down on the bumper) that adds strength and doubles as LED pod mounts! This bumper has 5 bolts, per side. 10 bolts total, to secure the bumper to your frame with added mounting brackets that bolt to your existing holes for recovery plates. The frame mounts are 3/8″ thick. There are 4, round ventilation holes on the lower half of the bumper that provides great air flow to your radiator and allows drainage. Only weighing in at only 88 pounds. That’s 40-50 pounds lighter than your average steel plate bumper! It mounts to stock locations and has 5 mounting points, per side. 10 in total. The mounting plates are 3/8″ thick. This bumper will hold any winch that will fit into the winch-compartment that is 28″width /11 & 1/4″height /7“deep. Perfectly compatible with 9,500-12,000 pound winches. The skid plates were made bolt-on for easy access to your winch and also to save weight. This radiator skid plate was designed to fit perfectly with ANY of our front bumpers! This means, if you already have one of our bumpers, you could add this on at any time. This will also fit stock bumpers. It’s 100% bolt-on for easy installation. The access hole to your oil filter, conveniently unbolts so, you could reach right in when needed. It bolts up in 6 spots. Each side attaches to your recovery point location. 2 bolts also run across your crossmember. Made of A36, 3/16″ steel. Hardware included. Bare metal. This skid plate will not work with 6″ bracket lift.
Details: This radiator skid plate is a great addition to add protection for your radiator and bottom of your engine. This will bolt in place of your sway bar. Your sway bar will need to be removed to run this skid plate. If you don’t want to remove your sway bar, check out our universal radiator skid plate above. This skid plate will not work with 6″ bracket lift.
Details: Add some beefy recovery points to your bumper to handle your recovery needs. These are made of 1/2″ A36 plate. A set of recovery points are welded to your front bumper as a place to add D-ring shackles or attach a hook from a winch to help you with recovery. You will need 3/4″ shackles. Shackles not included. Bare metal.
Upgrade any tubing to DOM. We highly reccomend this upgrade to our hardcore offroaders. This is the strongest material we offer!
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
All products must be coated (paint or powdercoat) prior to install to prevent possible rust. If you don’t want it painted, please apply a clear coat.
For stock chrome bumpers; install consists of simply unbolting your stock bumper. Our bumper will then bolt up in place, using your stock hardware.
For plastic 1 piece bumpers; install consists of cutting your stock bumper along the false seam for non-winch bumpers and 1″ above seam for winch-ready bumpers. This is easy and could be done using a razor blade or a small body saw. Once removed, our bumper bolts up in place using your stock hardware.
Winch Specifications: 2nd gen Nissan Frontier/Navara, 3rd gen Pathfinder & 2nd gen Xterra winch dimensions: 7 & 1/2″ deep, 10″ tall, 35″ wide. 2nd gen Tacoma winch dimensions: 7 & 1/2′ deep, 10′ tall, 35″ wide. All winches must have the standard 4.5 x 10 mounting.
